Welcome to the IKnowledgeBase<\/em>\u00a0theme documentation. These instructions briefly explain how to setup and configure all theme features.<\/p>\n

Theme Installation<\/h2>\n

Since it is the same procedure for every theme, this tutorial does not explain how to install the theme. If you need help with the\u00a0theme installation<\/strong>, please see the\u00a0Install WordPress themes\u00a0<\/a>tutorial.<\/p>\n

Install PRO Version Plugin<\/h3>\n

Please be aware that the\u00a0PRO Version of IKnowledgeBase is an Add-on plugin<\/strong>\u00a0for the Tortuga theme. Therefore you have to install and activate the Tortuga theme and\u00a0install the IKnowledgeBase Pro plugin in addition.<\/strong>\u00a0You can learn how to install Plugins on the\u00a0Install WordPress plugins<\/a>\u00a0tutorial.<\/p>\n

Theme Options<\/h2>\n

All theme settings you can do in Customize page. Navigate to Appearance \u2192 Customize<\/em><\/p>\n

Branding<\/h3>\n

Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Site Identity<\/p>\n

  1. Upload your logo in .png or .jpg format.<\/li>\n
  2. Upload your favicon, 512×512 is the preferred size in png format or jpg.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    IKnowledgeBase<\/em> supports the awesome Theme Customizer. You can configure all theme settings on your\u00a0WordPress admin panel \u2192 Appearance \u2192 Customize<\/em>\u00a0on the \u201cTheme Options\u201d section.<\/p>\n

    The \u201cTheme Options\u201d section in the Customizer includes following sub sections:<\/p>\n

    Main Settings<\/h3>\n

    In “Main Settings” you can set: location of sidebar<\/p>\n

    Pro version<\/strong><\/span> has options for: primary color, text color and body image

    Home Page Category<\/h3>\n

    In “Home Page Category” you can set how the categories will display on home page<\/p>\n

    Pro version<\/strong><\/span> has options for: panel heading background color<\/p>\n

    Appearance \u2192 Customize \u2192 Theme Options \u2192 Navigation Menu<\/em><\/p>\n

    In “Navigation Menu” you can set how the main navigation will appearance.<\/p>\n

    Pro version<\/strong><\/span> has options for: text color, background color and hover color<\/p>\n

    In ‘Post’ you can enabled\/disabled featured image for post<\/p>\n

    Pro version<\/strong><\/span> has options for: disabled post meta, enable voting, icon color<\/p>\n

    Breadcrumb<\/h3>\n

    Appearance \u2192 Customize \u2192 Theme Options \u2192 Breadcrumb<\/em><\/p>\n

    In ‘Breadcrumb’ you can select the separator between links<\/p>\n

    Pro version<\/strong><\/span> has options for: text color<\/p>\n

    Icons<\/h3>\n

    Appearance \u2192 Customize \u2192 Theme Options \u2192\u00a0Icons<\/em><\/p>\n

    In “Icons” you can enable icon fonts and set the icon for posts.<\/p>\n

    Media<\/h3>\n

    In “Media” you can set the image for 404 page and main image.<\/p>\n

    In “Footer” you can set the text for footer like ‘All rights reserved \u00a9 2021 IKnowladgeBase’.<\/p>\n

    Pro version<\/strong><\/span> has options for: background color, text color, hover color<\/p>\n

    Widget<\/h2>\n

    The theme has custom widget ‘IknowledgeBase Current Nav’ for display navigation for categories.<\/p>\n

    Navigate to Appearance \u2192 Widgets<\/em><\/p>\n

    Front Page<\/h2>\n

    1<\/strong>. Navigate to Pages, press ‘Add New’<\/p>\n

    2<\/strong>. Select Template \u2192<\/em> Home Page<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    3<\/strong>. To make Home page your homepage you have to go at Settings \u2192<\/em> Reading and choose it as front page.<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    Create button in menu<\/h2>\n

    For create button in navigation menu just added the class to menu item ‘button is-primary’<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    Create contact form<\/h2>\n

    For creating a contact form for WordPress theme Iknowledgebase, you can install the plugin \u2018Contact Form 7\u2019<\/p>\n

    1. Install and activate the free plugin \u2018Contact Form 7<\/a>\u2018<\/li>\n
    2. Create the necessary form<\/li>\n
    3. For design, you can use the HTML elements from the site https:\/\/bulma.io\/<\/li>\n
    4. Insert the form shortcode on the page<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The code uses in demo page \u2018Contact<\/a>\u2019:<\/p>\n
